Hey Fam😃 @pamojatbgroup is kicking off a power packed 2-day training to empower TB champions under the project "Empowering communities for a TB-FREE society" It's going to be a fun-filled, learning, insightful two days with one common goal " Taking action in ending TB"
What areas of SHA need improvement for a more inclusive, quality affordable coverage and access to maternal, newborn and child health? #afyakilamamakilamtoto

What doe lived experiences reveal on the existing gaps in maternal, neonatal and child health coverage under SHA? #afyakilamamakilamtoto

How effectively has SHA improved access to quality maternal health care? #afyakilamamakilamtoto

What programatic interventions can be implemented in SHA to promote inclusion? #afyakilamamakilamtoto

2 in every 5 maternal deaths in Kenya are due to obstetric hemorrhage and 91% of these women received sub-optimal care. We call on the government to urgently invest in emergency obstetric care. Every second counts. Every mother matters. #AfyaKilaMamaKilaMtoto

No mother or child should die waiting for care. Delays in accessing medical help cost lives. It's time to eliminate the barriers, from distance and cost to overcrowded facilities. We demand swift, life-saving action to protect mothers and children. #AfyaKilaMamaKilaMtoto

When maternal and child care is too costly, vulnerable mothers are pushed to unsafe, unskilled birth practices. We call on the government to ensure care is accessible, affordable, and life-saving for every mother and child. #AfyaKilaMamaKilaMtoto

When SHA contributions cover only a small fraction of maternity costs & co-payments are too high, expectant mothers are forced to stay away from health facilities. We urge the SHA to fully cover actual maternity package costs to save lives & uphold dignity. #AfyaKilaMamaKilaMtoto

Childbirth should never be a financial burden. We urge the SHA to deliver equity by ensuring vulnerable mothers are protected, not pushed deeper into poverty. Health for all begins with fair, inclusive coverage. #AfyaKilaMamaKilaMtoto

We call on the SHA Advisory Committee to centre dignity and equity in decision-making by truly listening to community voices. Social health care must reflect the realities of mothers, children, and families on the ground. #AfyaKilaMamaKilaMtoto

Maternal and newborn health is not just a health issue, it’s a development priority. Every mother and baby lost is a setback to Kenya’s future. Let’s invest in quality care, equity, and accountability to protect life. #AfyaKilaMamaKilaMtoto

A healthy mother means a healthy baby and that’s everyone’s responsibility. From family support to access to quality care, let’s build communities where expectant mothers are safe, heard, and cared for every step of the way. #Afyakilamamakilamtoto
