Our live recording of Die Walküre with Simone Young and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra from last year, has just been broadcast on the ABC. It still gives me goosebumps to listen to this, it was, about as thrilling as live music making gets. abc.net.au/listen/program…

"In the title role, Helena Dix demonstrated a complete mastery of her soprano's wide range and an equally impressive variety of dynamics, combined with a sense of style and textual meaning." George Hall, Opera Magazine

Bastien finds his shade in summer as quickly as I find my spotlight on any stage.

Beautiful, thoughtful, and honest interview with @Arnolddix on his tunnel rescue reflections with Jo Fidgen on @BBCSounds This still warms my heart and makes me so proud to have such an incredible human as my brother. bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/w3…
Firstly, you look beautiful, so elated and happy. Secondly, your voice is like listening to the golden thread of voices from the first half of the 20th century. Pitch, timbre, diction, PHRASING. I am transported. La Voce! La Voce!
"La Straniera was brought alive by the bel canto ardency of Dix, who was a champion of the leading role. When Alaide is finally allowed her own voice, Dix successfully brought out the parts echoes of Norma and made the evening worthwhile." 🥰🥰🥰 Thank you @RobertHugill

"Dix was magnificent and utterly tireless, effortlessly riding the combined forces, but she could provide real tenderness, too, her aria a highlight . This is one of Bellini’s sublime melodies and needs exactly the long-line legato Dix found." @SeenandHeardInt 🎶 👂
"Helena Dix as Alaide, was the star of the evening. With exceptional control and a sumptuous warmth throughout her range - as well as the best acting skills on stage - Dix brought something world class to the Cadogan Hall." Thank you @Operanow gramophone.co.uk/opera-now/revi…

"Helena Dix has become one of the company’s ‘resident’ stars, and here her virtuosity, dynamic control, theatrical sense, and vocal luxuriance were top notch. By any standards this was great Bel canto singing." 😍😍
