Today I met Dave, who drove the first train out of Waterloo under the Government’s public ownership programme. We said we’d bring the train operating companies into public ownership. We’re delivering. Next stop: set up Great British Railways to better manage track and train!

I know people have faced disruption at Waterloo this morning. Signalling has now been restored. It will take time to get trains and crew back in the right place, but @SW_Help are working hard to restore a reliable service to get you home later. Please check before you travel.
