Tomorrow the @USArmy celebrates its 250th Birthday! 🎉 🇺🇸 I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve.

Hands on hips can be a display of authority, a sign of readiness to act, or a way to project a sense of power. I agree. In these photos of me I can say I was processing what was in front of me and how I was going to accomplish my objective.

I learned that my book review has been accepted.✍️📚 I’ll share more after it’s published. But it’s my first time writing for a military publication and I’m looking forward to increasing my contributions to the profession. Going to move on to another, longer article.
I submitted my first book review for publication consideration yesterday. Feels good to write again. Exercises a different part of the brain. 📚✍️

Do something that pushes you out of your comfort zone. You might find that you like it and might even be OK at it. 👍 This picture was during a graded land nav exercise - night into day. I covered a lot of ground (and I looked like it…) but still smiling. Mindset matters.

Q: Is it possible to be kind, respectful, open-minded, and smart? A: Yes. 🙌🙂
