Great to discuss the vital issue of “Ghost Children” and the 140,000 young people missing from our schools since the pandemic on @GBNEWS with the ever thoughtful @Jacob_Rees_Mogg.
Will the Epping protests spread? - UnHerd Lisa Nandy admits to The New Statesman, northern England is so tense it could “go up in flames” at any time. So why not do something about it? Tories and Labour have had years to sort out unchecked immigration. unherd.com/2025/07/will-t…
Obviously it would take time away from tweeting vapid slogans and hiring men to be women's representatives, but perhaps @UN_Women might consider addressing the desperate situation of women in Afghanistan.
Very important and urgent :- As the Taliban continue mass arrests of women, our greatest concern is for widowed women—those who have no man in the house and are too afraid to leave their homes. We are working to deliver essential food and supplies directly to their doors during…
Afghans able to claim any number as “family” after a ‘dramatic’ change in law. Thank you, Mrs Justice Yip, for ruling a “family” member needs no blood or legal connection. Just anyone who offers you £20,000 as Afghans here testify. What a joke of a judge. telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/07/2…
Afghans are being offered £20,000 a person to list strangers as family members for evacuation. “The Government,” says one Afghan, “has basically opened an official smuggling route all expenses paid – many have already come, and many more are on the way.” telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/07/2…
Ninety criminal charges in three years against migrants living in just one hotel in central London. These include sexual assault, theft, burglary, carrying knives, assault and drug offences. One even tried to burn the place down. It’s also a hub of illegal working.
Starmer’s Britain. 1000’s of illegal immigrants (which he said he’d stop), in hotels (which he said he’d close), committing 1000’s of crimes against British people whose taxes are used to look after them and their lawyers. Tells you whose side Labour are on, and it’s not ours…
You’re “anti-genocide” — but you say nothing as Syrian jihadists massacre the Druze. You’re “anti-starvation” — but you’re silent as the Houthis starve Yemenis. You’re “anti-ethnic cleansing” — but you ignore what China is doing to the Uyghurs. You’re “anti-apartheid” — but…
Labour quick to raise taxes. But not a word about tackling eye watering waste and corruption
BREAKING - Council boss at Labour-run Birmingham City Council received £469k, and tripled the number of staff on more than £100k, in the year before the authority went bust (via @Telegraph) telegraph.co.uk/politics/2025/…
Tells you everything about the UK today. An asylum seeker raped a 12-year-old girl above Birmingham shop where he was illegally working. He told her it wasn’t safe on the streets, offered her some crisps then raped her. Birmingham Live birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-…
Standing in the nightmare that’s @British_Airways at Terminal 5. Long winding queues. Machines that are “temperamental”. Never did I think I’d be nostalgic for EasyJet and Gatwick. Compared to this, they’re a dream of efficiency.
Amazing how futile 42 people can be.
The full Annual Report on Spads (Special Advisors) from the @cabinetofficeuk reveals that there are 42, yes, FORTY-TWO, people - mostly paid more than elected MPs - working as advisors to @Keir_Starmer. This is, in every possible way, quite staggering information.
Hot take: Expanding the right to vote to 16/17 year olds will have little impact on election results - outside of hyper marginal seats. The government's proposals to introduce automated registration are less eye catching but could be far far more impactful electorally...
How might 16 year olds have changed the last election result? Maybe not very much. Assuming they voted similarly and at similar rates to 18-24 year olds the differences to the final vote shares would have been at one decimal place level.
To those that govern, “The British public are an embarrassment to be managed, not a population to be defended.”
@afneil It's not just about the money. It's about the mentality of the people running the country - and what they truly think of us. While they sit in warm offices, paid by us, these ministers decided that British pensioners struggling to heat their homes in winter didn't…
The full quote is, 'Maybe its actually the UK since Labour just took over.' That's how they see us.
JD Vance: “UK will be first Islamist country with nuclear weapons.”
British spies and special forces exposed in Afghan MoD data breach. What a tale of incompetence and stupidity. The only time the British government shows nous and grit is not against our enemies. But when covering up its own mistakes. telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/07/1…
Britain forced to pay EU under Keir Starmer’s Brexit reset. Didn't we leave in order to stop payments to the EU? Starmer appears to have forgotten. Now we have the worst of both worlds. Pay but no say. telegraph.co.uk/world-news/202…
Mohammed Ibrahim, 25, was racing his BMW at three times the speed limit when he crashed into a car killing Amanda Riley and her mum Linda Philips. He fled the scene leaving the two women to die “on a cold roadside, scared and in tremendous pain”. birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-…
