The #G20SouthAfrica session on infrastructure centred on advancing smarter approaches to de-risking, data, & blended finance. Unlocking investment pipelines can close the infrastructure gap in emerging economies.

At #G20SouthAfrica Ministerial Meeting on International Financial Architecture - a crucial discussion on 🌎 financial stability & sustainability. I spoke on the importance of using the FFD4 outcome to support concrete actions on debt.

Global trade will grow by 1.6% this year, down from 3.3% in 2024, in part due to the current macroeconomic climate. At #G20, I emphasized that we need to see trade as an engine of growth & poverty reduction & we need a rules-based multilateral trade system w/ WTO at the centre.

An interesting discussion at the #G20SouthAfrica Ministerial Dialogue to advance Africa's sustainable growth through private investment. We discussed how to unlock #Fin4Dev via fair credit rating, effective INFF and investment in initiatives like Timbuktoo.
