Urban flooding isn’t just caused by climate change. It’s the result of poor planning, weak infrastructure, disappearing green spaces & zero accountability. Pointing to climate alone lets those in power off the hook. It’s a failure of governance as much as an environmental crisis.
During the floods the Zardari / Qabza Group stood at a cross roads - I myself watched and waited to see how they would perform. The statistics are clear. Their response? Misinformation and name calling.
