HMS Queen Elizabeth
@HMSQNLZ
The first Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carrier of the @RoyalNavy, based in HMNB Portsmouth ⚓️🇬🇧
Meet the newest member of the QNLZ Command Team, Scrumpy the Jackapoo! Scrumpy particularly enjoys helping our CO conduct rounds, where he gets to meet our sailors and see what biscuits are left over from stand easy.

We may not be in Australia like @HMSPWLS but that won't stop us enjoying a BBQ! Great effort by the Warrant Officers and Senior Rates Mess 👏

A warm welcome 👋 UK’s flagship @HMSPWLS sails into Darwin today – the first RN aircraft carrier to visit Australia in a generation. #CSG25 #TalismanSabre2025 @COMUKCSG royalnavy.mod.uk/news/2025/july…
Back to basics. Our GPMG teams keep their skills sharp with a gunnery serial at sea, using the famous 'killer tomato' as their target.

The Fleet Air Arm today bids farewell to ‘one of life’s best’ with a Wildcat flypast for Cdr Amy Gilmore as the observer/ops officer is laid to rest at the Memorial Church near @RNASYeovilton. She lost a hard-fought battle with cancer on July 12. 🔗royalnavy.mod.uk/news/2025/july…
Double trouble... 🇬🇧🇺🇸 The #RoyalNavy's UK Carrier Strike Group with @HMSPWLS at its heart has been operating alongside the USS George Washington Carrier Strike Group in the Timor Sea as the largest ever military exercise in Australia continues. ➡️royalnavy.mod.uk/news/2025/july…
It might not be the conventional start time (plus the maritime location is unusual) but our flight deck park runners are ready to go! It's always important to take time for exercise and relaxation, even when we are busy at sea. #loveparkrun

Passionate Royal Navy families gathered to see @HMSQNLZ leave Portsmouth and send best wishes to their loved ones. Sailors lined the flight deck to wave goodbye to well-wishers. Always a pleasure to write about this. See the story below #Pompey: tinyurl.com/4ukdj7u3

A massive congratulations to our football team, who became the first team from a ship to win the United Service Football League since HMS Victory in 1943 👏🏆⚽️ We go again this week, with QNLZ already having made the Men's Navy Cup Final and now seeking a historic double!

@HMSPWLS joins ships from UK #CSG25 in Singapore 🇸🇬 It’s a great view from here! #OpHighmast #StrongerTogether
Terrific to host six US Navy Midshipmen from @NavalAcademy, Annapolis. They were visiting us as part of a wider acquaint with the @RoyalNavy, where they have been learning more about how we train our future leaders and how the Royal Navy and US Navy work together.

Congratulations to Surgeon Commander Matthew Osborne, Leading Logistician David La Croix and Chief Petty Officer Elizabeth Howard who are (or have very recently been) part of the HMS Queen Elizabeth team and whose service was recognised in His Majesty's Birthday Honours.
Bravery. Commitment. Dedication. Selflessness. Country first. Congratulations - and thank you - to more than 30 Sailors and Royal Marines, decorated in HM The King's Birthday / Operational Honours announced today. royalnavy.mod.uk/news/2025/june…
