From the bottom of our hearts, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made our 28th Annual Benefit Gala a night to remember! Your presence and kindness help us continue making a difference in the lives of so many.

Celebrating a year of impact! From July 2024–June 2025, our Division of Social Services provided 17,070 services to 10,190 clients, helping families access vital resources and a brighter future. Thank you to our dedicated team and community for making this possible!
Join us for a Sunset Park clean-up tomorrow, July 22, 4:30–6:30 PM! We’ll be covering 65th–67th St, 8th–9th Ave. Thank you to @CMAlexaAviles & @pcra_nyc for partnering to keep our neighborhood beautiful!

We had a great time at @BKCyclones AAPI Heritage Night! Our Sheepshead Bay Center’s Older Adults lit up the field with an amazing dance performance. Thanks to @cpc_nyc, Brooklyn Cyclones, United Chinese Association of Brooklyn, & @pcra_nyc for a beautiful night of community!

Yesterday, HCS teamed up with @pcra_nyc & @JustinBrannan’s Office for a Coney Island community clean-up! Huge thanks to all volunteers who showed up in the heat to help keep our streets clean. Grateful to @kaymsanto & @chrismccreight from CM Brannan’s Office for their support!

Homecrest was proud to stand with @CMShekarK, @CMSandraUng, @CMLindaLee, AAPI subcommittee members and community partners as @NYCCouncil invests $2.5M to bring AAPI curriculum to our public schools. A huge step forward—thank you to all who made it happen! Our history, our power!

NYC Primary Today! Voting is one of the most powerful ways to make your voice heard. We’re proud to see our older adults braving the heat to cast their ballots—leading by example and reminding us all of the importance of civic engagement. 6 more hours, let’s go, #NYC!

Good morning, NYC. The city is under an Extreme Heat Warning. Take it seriously. Heat kills more New Yorkers than any other type of weather. Shut drapes and blinds. Set your AC to the highest comfortable temperature setting. Drink water early and often. Wait until tonight to use…
Despite freezing cold or blazing heat, our older adults never stop fighting for what they deserve! As FY26 budget talks go on, we urge @NYCCouncil+@NYCMayor to pass a budget that prioritizes their needs. Grateful to the EOs standing with us in @liveonny’s #AgeStrongNYC campaign!

Federal $ makes up 15%+ of @NYCAging budget. And, at $554M, City Hall is committing less than half of 1% of the city’s total budget to our seniors! That is inadequate & insulting for a community that makes up 20% of NYC's total population. @NYCCouncil will fight for our seniors!
Need help with federal services? Come visit @RepDanGoldman Mobile Office! Come to Homecrest’s Sunset Park Center at 901 60th Street, Brooklyn, 11219 on Thursday, June 26, 2025, 12PM - 4PM. No appointment needed, just drop in!

Homecrest is proud to be one of the over 90 community-based organizations in the 18% and Growing Campaign. We're urging the @NYCCouncil to fully fund the AAPI CSI, CCNSF and Access Health Initiatives. #18PercentandGrowing #BudgetEquity
