Grill fires peak in July. Clean your grill regularly and inspect the drip pan for rust or holes. Grease drips can easily ignite a fire.

Summer storms can roll in fast. Clear your gutters and storm drains and keep emergency kits stocked for power outages or flash floods. If you come upon a flooded road, turn around, don’t drown!
Avoid injuries by leaving fireworks to the professionals. If you plan to use LEGAL fireworks at home, keep a bucket of water or hose nearby and never relight a "dud." Keep children and pets at a safe distance and always follow label instructions.
