The joy expressed for taking away healthcare from 10 million people just to give more tax breaks to billionaries..

If Congress lets enhanced premium tax credits expire, the average American who buys their insurance through the ACA marketplaces will be paying 75% MORE in premiums next year. npr.org/sections/shots…
While @SenatorCollins is concerned and @lisamurkowski is frustrated, they were unable to stop their caucus from taking away healthcare from millions of people to fund even more tax breaks for billionaires.

We need #Healthcare NOT #Wealthcare
We invest abroad because it's the SMART thing to do for America. But it's WORTH saying it's the RIGHT thing to do as well. It's WRONG to shell out trillions for billionaires, only to say a penny a day is too expensive to protect hundreds of thousands of little girls from HIV.
We will see this more and more. Rural hospitals across the country are already preemptively closing and cutting services because of the #BigBeautifulBill.

80 million Americans get health care through Medicaid. The severe cuts to Medicaid in the big, bad budget bill will make it harder for every state in the country to provide health care to residents - harder for YOU to get care you need. More from @AP: apnews.com/article/big-bi…
The Kaiser Family Foundation reports that Medicaid covers 40% of births in the US. Cutting it would have devastating consequences for maternal and infant health.
The economy is shrinking, but the cost of housing and gas keeps going up. And the GOP in Congress wants to increase prices on healthcare and food - just so billionaires can have more tax cuts?

Taking food away from millions of hungry seniors, veterans, and other Americans.

They want to raise the debt ceiling to pay for tax breaks for billionaires, but we "can't afford" to let 16 million people keep their healthcare or school lunches for kids. What a joke.
BREAKING: Every single Democratic senator just signed a letter urging their Republican colleagues to abandon their plan to fund billionaire tax breaks by gutting Medicaid and SNAP. Instead, the senators propose working together to cut taxes for working people, not billionaires.
#Medicaid is a lifeline for rural hospitals. If the #BigBeautifulBill passes with the massive Medicaid cuts that are currently in it, rural hospitals across the country may close.
The true story is that most of the GOP in Congress just hates Medicaid. Instead of increasing access to quality affordable healthcare, the GOP is trying to take it away. The rest is just talking points.
Republicans say that Medicaid is riddled with fraud and that people who should be working, aren’t. They said the same about the Child Tax Credit. They’re wrong about both.
The Senate GOP: - CUT healthcare for millions of men, women, and children. - KEEP tax breaks for billionaire owners of sports teams
NEW: Billionaire sports owners — including major donors like Robert Kraft, Jimmy Haslam and Rob Walton — are waging an aggressive behind- the-scenes fight to sink Trump’s proposal to kill a tax break for sports owners. They got a big win on Monday axios.com/2025/06/17/tru…
