One question as Cardinals report for training camp is whether any players that ended 2024 on injured reserve will open camp on active/PUP. We'll know either today or tomorrow.

Whatever gap was, Cardinals bridged it today signing CB Will Johnson. When official numbers are known, will be interesting to see how guaranteed numbers broke down with 2nd-round picks. Only RB Quinshon Judkins (4th pick) , is unsigned and he had recent off-field issue.

According to a report, Texans 2nd-round pick Aireontae Ersery, selected one choice after Cardinals CB Will Johnson, received no guarantees in his 4th-year salary, so that might be sticking point in getting Johnson signed. Player before him, Terrance Ferguson, got $498K guaranteed

The three long snappers that tried out for the Cardinals played in the UFL this past season: Peter Bowden, Michigan; Ryan Langan, Birmingham; Marco Ortiz, Houston. WR Braylon Sanders played for DC in the UFL.

Packers waived K Alex Hale and Seahawks waived CB Ty Alexander, both of whom opened camp on Active/NFI.
