100%. Stewart should hire him to be a correspondent like the old days with a running gag that Colbert isn't making enough money to support his previous lifestyle and with each week/story he looks more desperate/homeless. Would be the funniest bit either has done in a decade.
Colbert should be a reporter for the daily show like old times.
I completely forgot that Jon Stewart returned to The Daily Show. But ok Bill, sure, really hitting the MAGAs hard by *checks post* denying them a show they hate just as much as Colbert's. 4D dunk FTW.

100% guaranteed going to spaz out on Serj Tankian if I ever meet him and not in the way he's accustomed to.
System of a Down's Serj Tankian shares picture of his iMac's storage statistics (2025)
In Aug 2023 a Nebraska women's volleyball match versus Omaha at an outdoor venue had 92K in attendance. The Husker ladies at that point also recorded 306 consecutive sold out matches at their home venue which seats about 13.5K. Avg attendance for WNBA game in 2024? Under 10K.
Society still clings to outdated views that men’s sports are more exciting, aggressive, or entertaining. That’s not fact, it’s bias. It’s reinforced every time people dismiss the WNBA without watching a game.
Prolonging a program that is demonstrably financially inviable is morally correct if the intention behind it is noble, hence why no government apparatus or immodest spending is ever permanently eliminated. Colbert being gone is good, but there are always more gators in the bayou
Not surprised internet leftist math says keep a show on that's losing you $40 million a year otherwise people might think Trump got what he wanted, and that's worse.
Sure this is compelling and might...MIGHT...indicate a trend of non-viability but I say we still just don't have enough data. We'll need the biggest trial run of public grocery stores yet. Vote for @ZohranKMamdani for mayor of NYC.
Despite a recent $750k taxpayer subsidy, the shelves at Kansas City's government-run grocery store are "almost bare." It also lost $885k last year and is, unsurprisingly, hemorrhaging customers.
Firefly was cancelled because George W. Bush felt threatened by it's anti-authoritarianist stance in the wake of the 9/11 and the Patriot Act.
Not really an overstatement to say that the test of a free society is whether or not comedians can make fun of the country's leader on TV without repurcussions.
