Dr. Trygve Aamlid from @NIBIO_landskap crunched the numbers on fertilization practices in cool climates. The advantage of fall fertilization was faster green-up and enhanced growth in September, October, and April, but this came at the expense of more annual bluegrass. #itrc25

The tough part about #ITRC25 is that we cannot be in multiple rooms at once!

Dr Bernd Leinauer’s grad student, Tatiana Kardashina, at @nmsu compared soil moisture data from satellites to local precision sensors. The technology is not QUITE ready to replace technologies that are closer to earth, but research will continue! #itrc25 #innovation #turfgrass
