That is as irresponsible as it gets. @mlb needs to look into this decision to have players on the field at a time when lightning was close enough to have the fans seek shelter. I’d love to hear the umpire crew chief explain and try to justify this decision. 🧐 🤔 🤨
I’ve never seen this at a baseball game before. We are still playing, rain is coming down, but they have asked fans to clear all exposed seats because of lightning and thunder. It’s pretty weird…
