Called an iconoclast by the DM Register Picture explanation can be found at the blog , under featured post. Farmer experienced with wind turbines and solar
Some years back, I did a deep dive into determining if Wind developers in IA were paying the correct amount of property tax. I found a lot of info , and I think some may not be. Hope that you enjoy it. renewablefarmer.blogspot.com/2018/12/midame…
I would say the "standardized approach" needs to be improved when they and others missed the final yield by what? A billion bushels? This depressed prices all last year. And as Ben pointed out, It has happened the last several years. x.com/JLinvilleFert/…
Genuine question here: What do farmers want? Should the markets ignore the crop until it is harvested? Models are created using feedback from folks across the nation who are in fields daily, but everyone pushes back. Group of people go across the Midwest using a standarized…
I should add... being critical of the way a system is performing is perfectly reasonable. Calling people who do that "conspiracy theorists" is not.
Everyone can see it. But it's just conspiracy theory.🤪
Farmers pointing out problems with pollination to analysts.
"Excuse me, wench, it is exactly 28 seconds past dinner time..."
collusion you say...🤔 x.com/i/grok/share/L…
Picking up on some export business getting done. Like it matters in this collusion of funds taking grain prices to zero
oh... Probably a few more wild cards than pollination...
If pollination proves to be a problem and the 2025 corn crop does not live up to lofty expectations, it would quickly further tighten the world balance sheet at a time when most of the world’s supplies are coming from the U.S. zurl.co/DgRW8
Make antitrust great again
Anyone have this on their bingo Card this year?
If I remember correctly, that is what Russia did in the 70s. They also established a long position in grains that they profited from when the news broke.
Would make sense considering the unknown sales the last few days and those could be from weeks ago. China will buy before a deal is announced
When I look at this, I can only think algorithm trading is severely distorting the market.
With all the attention that increased production in South America gets, this is the less discussed reason why world exports have been declining. And why U.S. corn is in such strong demand globally...
This is why I think farmers will be disappointed if we don't get a deal that makes up for this.
From the Peterson Institute for International Economics piie.com/research/piie-… China didn't honor shite

Guys charging farmers high interest rates are worried about farm loans...🙄 Did they short farm commodities as well?
Oh man...Powell looks miserable
🚨 BREAKING: President Trump is OPENLY GRILLING Jerome Powell to his face at the Federal Reserve Building in DC This comes after Trump found out the total for the renovations are actually $3.1 BILLION “What are all these overruns about?!" Holy CRAP this is an amazing watch 🤣
Algorithm said it was dark green and beautiful corn! A record. Boots on the ground had an argument.
I'm also wondering how many of those acres yet to be planted in the June report (3.5 million?) got mudded in. Probably not record yielding potential. 🙂
*hits bong* what if the pollination issues all together end up reducing production like the derecho did in 20 and folks are just kind of ignoring it
The fun continues! More 1742q. It all looks good until you pull husks back. @Dusty3080467325
