Day 4 took us to the Glen Golf Club East Links, just a hop, skip and a jump from North Berwick. Played along cliff-side ridge, the views are jaw-dropping. Dunbar Friday. Top-notch service, too.

I just know that the crew of this cargo ship was watching every one of my shots today at Kilspindie. Wonderful course.

North Berwick West Links more than live up to expectations. Tremendous hospitality; tremendous course; tremendous day of golf. I played poorly but had a great time.

I will give a shout-out to the helpful United gate agent who walked us thru the rebooking process. She was great in a stressful situation.

Nothing dissipates the excitement of heading to Scotland than flight delays and having to rebook. I wish I could have driven - less hassle
