My latest book now has its product page up @CambridgeUP - This has been gestating in mind for a long time, advancing a constructive argument for a way forward beyond the debates on natural revelation. Bavinck, Plantinga, Heidegger, Barth... Link 👇 May 26 pub. @CambUP_Religion

6 chapters drafted, 70,000 words so far, for my Sin volume in @ZonderAcademic 's New Studies in Dogmatics series. The finish line is in sight - a couple more to go!

Great call by Dr. @GraySutanto. Turretin is incredibly helpful.
Francis Turretin - Institutes of Elentic Theology. Its been translated for a while so there’s no excuse.
Rereading this after ~3 years. It was required reading for my Independent/Directed Study with Dr. @GraySutanto titled “Advanced Readings in Bavinck” via @RTSWashington. Readings included Bavinck’s “Philosophy of Revelation”, Sutanto’s “God & Knowledge” and others. Gold 🌟

Name one theology book that more people should know about and read.
A reminder that Johan Bavinck is the best expositor of Romans 1, general revelation, and non-belief. Revisited this today as I’m writing my Sin book and its just wonderfully instructive. @wtsbooks

Went to a book launch event at a local church today and saw something written by a familiar name @GraySutanto
The publication page by @BloomsburyBooks is out for "The Fatherhood of God The Divine Father in Fourth-Century Pro-Nicene Trinitarian Theology" in the Studies in the @tandtclark Systematic Theology Series. bloomsbury.com/au/fatherhood-…
The thing about Coldplay is that in the early 2000s they wrote songs that became hits but since Viva La Vida they wanted to write hits. A crucial difference.
How C.S. Lewis finishes the chapter on "social morality" in Mere Christianity. Helpful reminder that Christianity should determine our politics, not the other way around.
Has to be - @Architectsuk
What is an album where EVERY song is good?
I just deployed the transcendental argument from reason in a Bali wedding and it was persuasive to show to a couple of naturalists that naturalism, in fact, is false - apologetics is not only important, it works. This volume is going to be wonderfully useful.

Excellent essay by Rob Joustra 👇🏻
'It takes courage to learn about where we are, and to learn to discern what is good and right and true and beautiful and what is wrong and hateful and destructive. Courage is the absent virtue in the mob.' comment.org/punching-blind/

Why Presbyterians baptize infants -- a concise yet extremely convincing 6-minute explanation by Jonny Gibson!
This turned into much more than I originally intended this evening. It's kind of a 🧵 on my thoughts about baptism. I'm passionate about it - but I'll be the first to admit that my study of the topic to date is not yet well-developed. You're welcome to rip me to shreds.
Superman was fabulous, and technically much better than Man of steel (I still think Henry Cavill deserved better scripts) - though I wanted to love it, I ended up merely liking it.
