I'm extremely disappointed in Gov. Ayotte's veto of HB148, a simple bill to allow a person's sex to be considered before gender identity in bathrooms, locker rooms, lock-ups and sports. She promised to stand up for girls and women. What happened?
What if people could get married without going through the government marriage license scheme? What if the marriage contract itself was enforced by civil courts rather than family courts? What if the contract could define a specific church or churches to arbitrate disputes?
