Serious question: Was the min pool fee which was once 340 ADA and now 170 ADA included in the protocol to prevent small pools from ever having a chance?

Best not to listen to crypto influencers - they don't have your interest at heart - they are likely to dump on projects they promote at any time - follow them for entertainment and leave it at that - that is my 5 cents worth !

If you care about Cardano support a small Stakepool - any small Stakepool will do as stake has become incredibly sticky in recent time favoring large impersonal pools.
