After 7 incredible years at Brandeis, I'm excited to start a new chapter at UCSB today😊 I'm forever grateful to my wonderful colleagues at Brandeis for their support. Looking forward to building an interdisciplinary program in materials & energy @ucsbchemistry🌴☀️🔋

Thank you to @cenmag for sharing the work that I had the opportunity of being a part of. Have a read and see how curved anthracene molecules can be used to store solar energy. Thanks to @GraceGDHan for this amazing opportunity.
Researchers have made a curved form of anthracene, an organic compound, that captures and stores sunlight in its chemical bonds, releasing the energy as heat when triggered hours later. cen.acs.org/energy/solar-p…
Grateful to @physorg_com for covering our recent research from @GraceGDHan Lab It means a lot to see our work recognized and shared with the broader scientific community.
#Curved anthracene molecules efficiently absorb #VisibleLight, store #SolarEnergy as chemical bonds, and release heat on demand, offering a solvent-free advance in molecular solar thermal storage. doi.org/g9t4m2 phys.org/news/2025-07-m…
Thanks to @cenmag for covering our work! Grateful to @KMothPoulsen and @Diego__Sampedro for sharing their thoughts on the story. And heartfelt thanks to @GraceGDHan for the opportunity to be part of this exciting project.

Dewar anthracene with a "cool", highly strained structure exhibits "hot" performance as a MOST material!🔥 Thank you for including me in this work! Congratulations! Team members! @Subhayan_Chem @WritamC @TPqiuqf @cijil_raju and @GraceGDHan

New from the @GraceGDHan Lab! We designed curved anthracene molecules for solar energy storage — and just realized they resemble the curved architecture of Miami’s skyline! 😄 Stores up to 0.65 MJ/kg in reversible Dewar isomers. cell.com/chem/fulltext/…
#ISMSC2025 favorite anions, in order are BArF, PF6 and BF4. Least favorite is Cl. Favorite write-in was hydride — thanks to @YunLiu_Chem at PKU for the photo
Yay! To Grace Han for receiving the Cram Lehn Pedersen (CLP) Award in Supramolecular Chemistry at #ISMSC2025
I am thrilled that we finally had this lunch! Thank you! amazing super supervisors! @afukazawa79 @GraceGDHan #ISMSC2025
[ISMSC2025 Memorial Lecture & Getting Together] Prof. David A. Leigh will deliver the Prof. Sir Fraser Stoddart Memorial Lecture on May 25 (1st day). Following the lecture, the Getting Together will be held at The Westin Miyako Kyoto. We encourage everyone to attend. #ISMSC2025
