lol this isn’t really a political post (college NIL has been my lane for years - I’ve stayed out of the political stuff for a long time) but I have to laugh and say that this EO violates almost over 100 years of anti trust law.

No chance. It’s going to get worse not better. Because the reality is you have two professional leagues COMPETING against each other for top talent. Same thing could happen with the NFL and collegiate football.
They went over almost $1,500,000 to get a Vanderbilt commit. Something has to be done with MLB teams paying whatever it takes to make a HS kid sign their contract.

Vandy is dominating 2026 in-state recruiting. Of note, Vandy commit Colin Bland jumped over 100 spots and is now rated as the 37th best player in the class after a dominant spring. He’s a guy Vandy will really want to get to campus with his elite power and contact abilities.

Student tickets would sell out online in minutes routinely after the Alabama game. The line to get students in was so poorly managed I didn’t get into the SC game until the first quarter was over. Thats unacceptable and major credit to Pavia for having the students’ backs.
