I was 10 and I taped a show(maybe Football Focus) that had a montage of all the league's new signings, set to George Harrison's 'Got My Mind Set On You'. It's why these shots of Kanchelskis' unveiling are embedded in my mind and why I know all the words of that song to this day.

Wayne Rooney stands with the ball in open play having come on as an 87th minute replacement for goalscorer Tomasz Radzinski in Everton's 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion at Goodison Park in November 2002 🔵⚽️
“My memories are just happy ones… Everton, big club, big history, fan base absolutely crazy, so I’m really grateful for the experience” - Amadou Onana 🔵
Good player Steve Watson, always liked him. Used to sweat buckets haha
I remember my Dad taking me in the old Park End upper stand for this game (I think it was Easter , big crowd of 45000 or so) so had a great view of this goal, a 2-0 win against Leeds. Duncan McKenzie scored a brilliant goal to finish them off !
