I think what breaks me here is, Tsubasa getting the courage to kill Takumi so they can take out V'ehxness along with him, only to become heartbroken realising how much V'ehxness truly cared for him and why Takumi wanted to protect her in the end.

I think what gets me about this is V’ehxness is now empty after realizing she has no goal left after spending her entire life being a weapon for her people and fighting a war. All she knew what to do was violence, so that’s all she showed Takumi, unaware of how she felt for him.
