The call for investment in universal social protection in the #FFD4 Compromiso, affirms the financial system must work for people, enhance living standards, reduce inequalities and protect the vulnerable. Investing in people isn't a cost but the basis of inclusive development.

The @ILO is committed to #DecentWork for the world's seafarers. The ILO Maritime Labour Convention calls for recognizing #seafarers as key workers, enhancing their living & working conditions and upholding their rights. I urge all Member States to ratify and implement the MLC!

When #refugees have the opportunity to access decent work, entire communities benefit. It's not only a question of #solidarity. Inclusive labour markets that uphold the rights, dignity, and potential of all workers, are in everyone's interest. #WorldRefugeeDay

On Domestic Workers Day and every day, the @ILO cares fully for the work of those who care for us, including during times of crisis. @ILO's Domestic Workers' Convention is designed to ensure domestic work is decent work. I urge all Member States to #RatifyC189 and implement it.

Proud #ILC2025 has adopted a new Convention and Recommendation on Biological Hazards in the Working Environment. It's a major step forward in ensuring the right to a safe & healthy working environment. It shows the power of social dialogue & relevance of our normative mandate.

Deeply saddened by the loss of life and injury caused by the plane crash in Ahmedabad, India. My heartfelt condolences to all those who have lost loved ones. My thoughts are also with those who were injured on the ground.

The purpose of the Global Coalition, & its #SocialJusticeForum is to leverage our collaborative approach and turn it into action for the benefit of people. #SocialJustice extends beyond the world of work. It takes all of us, a multilateral approach, to make it a reality for all.

Good news that Belgium has ratified the @ILO Work in Fishing, and Minimum Wage Fixing Conventions at #ILC2025. It shows Belgium's commitment to achieve decent work in the fishing sector and protect workers against unduly low wages.

Delighted Angola has ratified 7 @ILO Conventions at #ILC2025, including the 50th ratification of C190 on Violence & Harassment. It's a significant landmark on the road to a world of work free from violence & harassment! Angola has also ratified all ILO fundamental conventions.

New @ILO and @UNICEF child labour data show that progress is possible. Children belong in school, not in work. Parents need access to decent work and social protection to support their families. We've a long way to go to #EndChildLabour but we're heading in the right direction.
