Nobody in their right mind believes Epstein took his own life. And the more the Trump administration tries to shove this obvious falsehood up the asses of his base, the more he jeopardizes his presidency by way of the mid-term elections.
All presidents reneg on campaign promises. The problem with the Epstein debacle is that it's so unforgivable. Americans will put up with a lot of backpedaling. Taxes, inflation, even wars all get a pass. But they will not stand for the sexual abuse and exploitation of children.
