Book #28 for 2025. @RichardChizmar is so good at these types of “true-crime” stories. This one keeps you guessing right up to the last few pages. AND leaves some questions unanswered. A+!

Short story #16 for 2025. Haven’t said it in a while but you’re really missing out if you’re not subscribed to @JeffStrand’s newsletter. His monthly shorts are top notch. This one hits close to home. I have an “Uncle Pete”. Makes the 4th a blast every year. Fun story!!

Book #27 for 2025. @KevinBLucia @jeremybatesbook @AuthorJasParent 3 tales set in Clifton Heights. Always fun to revisit that town. I gotta say, Jeremy’s story, a heartwarming tale of revenge and a mother’s love, is some of the best short work I’ve read. The last 3 pages tho!

Book #26 for 2025. I’ve been a cat owner and lover for as long as I can remember. Had my first cat when I was 3. Don’t know that I’ve ever NOT had a cat. And yet, @PScottsdale taught me some things with this book. Fun read!!

Short story #15 for 2025. I haven’t read very many werewolf stories in my time but @tjoneswriter brings a good one here, told through the lens of an on-line forum courtesy of his Patreon. Poor Cody just wanted someone to believe him.

Book #25 for 2025. My first @JamesAMoore book. Highly entertaining. Good blend of humor, action, and just a hint of the supernatural. Been sitting on this one for over 2 years. Glad I finally read it.

My most favorite book of all time

Book #24 for 2025. I’ve said so much about how great a short story writer @PhilipFracassi is there isn’t much more to say. He’s definitely grown in leaps and bounds from this, his debut collection, to today. ‘Mandala” terrified me! Thanks for the borrow @HotRodd323

Who wants this @pat_fry5 signed football⁉️ RP for your chance to win!
Book #23 for 2025. Malerman nails the introduction to this one. @PhilipFracassi is a singular talent when it comes to shorter works. And to be honest, his novels are pretty freaking awesome also. This collection is wonderful. Thanks for the borrow @HotRodd323!

This is a really cool idea and a nice piece of mail to get!! Thanks so much @JonathanJanz. Can’t wait for The Veil!!!! Get me to September 16th!!

Book #22 for 2025. The Master just keeps doing it. @StephenKing’s latest is a banger. TBH I wasn’t sure I was real excited about another Holly Gibney story, but after reading this one, I think it’s my fave HG tale since the OG Bill Hodges trilogy. A+!!

Short story #12 for ‘25. As @JeffStrand indicates in the newsletter this tale is included within, it is clearly inspired by his recent Friday the 13th binge. Just a delightfully fun story told from the viewpoint of the stereotypical old codger. Sign up for Jeff’s newsletter!

Book #21 for 2025. @tjoneswriter brings a simply wonderful and BEAUTIFUL story. You catch onto the hook fairly early, but that doesn’t change the fact that this was a pleasure to read. Thanks @HotRodd323 for the borrow.
