I am proud of my fantastic lab co-workers and their dedication to the cause!
On this #WorldParkinsonsDay we affirm our commitment to studying this disease until much-needed biomarkers and preventive therapies transform the current care of patients. We use #PD iPSC models, genetic screens and the study of patients biosamples. ⤵️
Thank you @Reyesneuroscie1 and Linköping Neuroscience community for inviting me to talk at your retreat. Great discussions surrounded by beautiful scenery!

Well done Chen on securing the @alzheimerssoc fellowship and welcome to our lab!

Did you know that probable corticobasal degeneration has a long preclinical phase? Together with @XinYouTai we identified a case with a decade-long prodrome on neuroimaging. …mentdisorders.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/md…

A wonderful atmosphere today at the 7km fun run @BlenheimPalace, in our case promoting the benefits of exercise in #Parkinson's. @Blenheim7k

Promising results with allogenic stem cell regenerative therapy in Parkinson's disease reported in 2 studies showing safety, tolerability and some motor improvement. More evidence is needed but Parkinson's is a diffuse disease also with non-motor symptoms nature.com/articles/d4158…
