How many vide coded projects do you think churn simply because the user can't get through integrating payments, authentication, + transactional emails? Three separate tools. They need to communicate with one another... It's critical infrastructure... outseta.com/posts/the-oppo…
After like 15 years @trello made major UI updates for the first time. I know that I may just be reacting to the unfamiliar UI negatively and could be wrong (I do this often), but I'm pretty sure I hate it. Rule #1—never mess with a perfect product. 😉
OK, OK... here's what *actually* keeps me up at night as it pertains to @outseta these days. outseta.com/posts/what-kee…
I bootstrapped from California. Immediately after I took on a mortgage for the first time. Through a pandemic. And unexpectedly had twins in the middle of it. Would not recommend. Someone probably should have shipped me off to Shutter Island long ago.
UK impossible to bootstrap Too expensive That's why you fly out, live somewhere cheap, build a startup, get rich and then optionally return
Plateaus are the death of SaaS — unless you know how to spot and beat them. In this talk from MicroConf US 2025, @robwalling shares real data and reveals the 7 SaaS growth plateaus: including leaky funnels, high churn, lack of leads, and losing PMF. youtube.com/watch?v=Sv1IO5…
Interrupting your feed for the marketing forecast: Social: mixed weather 🌦️ B2C is enjoying pleasant temperatures thanks to the opportunities short-form videos keep delivering. It’s raining hard on B2B due to declining reach on their main platforms. Communities: sunny ☀️ Warm…
Impressive example of what can be built by a small team with @weweb_io @nocodebackend and @outseta. Thanks for sharing @jon_adair!
As promised - here’s a quick walkthrough of some of the functionality and user flows!
Final day in Greece. I'll miss it every day until I return.

Today was one of those days where everybody was awesome, the work was a pleasure, and the journey was enjoyed.
Been meaning to write this one for a LONG time. Since founding @outseta, customer service has been a big part of my job. In fact, everyone on our team does support. Here's what I've learned about SaaS support from responding to 21,623 support tickets. outseta.com/posts/lessons-…
Went to a coffee shop. Barista introduced himself. Nice guy. Smiles easily. Went back. He said hello. Called me by my name. Now I’ve gone seven days in a row because the barista feels like a neighborhood friend, and that’s how low the bar for service is these days.
Real talk about running a startup: sometime you spend all day solving one user's problem, and it's 100% the right thing to do.
I was once the kid in the crowd. Never forget 🙏🏾
At @outseta everyone on our team gets the same compensation, same equity arrangement, and same voting rights (on things like selling the company) as the founders. I couldn't sell the company if I wanted to w/o the team voting to do so—and we all win or lose on the same terms.
Just to upset everybody I'd like to share that today I completed the monumental task of updating 94 knowledge base articles for @outseta. I reviewed + updated every sentence, every word, every screenshot. Now I can sleep knowing the docs are accurate + not auto-generated slop.
First email I read this week—from a founder and CMO who has seen just about everything. This is how you get me all hot and bothered.

Life is beautiful, too damn short and we should spend every single moment more meaningful.
Just came back from 4 days off grid in the Alps w bro and I'm not gonna lie, never thought it'd be THIS good: Maybe it's cope/avoidance, but the feeling of being in nature, having no signal for days etc = complete bliss Suddenly everything real out there becomes massively…
