In 2015 I slept outside for 4 days to cop one of the 7 pairs of Pirate Blacks in Switzerland. In 2023 I built the systems and launched them globally. Truly full circle, I would have never thought. The past 3 days have been so unbelievably crazy, need time to processes.

This is actually a huge step, really cool
Powerful that we’ve got most the companies running the biggest scrapers to agree to this new standard. Identifying correctly the good bots makes stopping the bad bots easier.
I once deleted the Sneakercopter key DB. I handled the situation by changing the auth server to instead check the key was a valid MD5 hash (as it should be) and also set the first attempt to always fail (to trick brute force). I later found a backup and no fake keys got through😃

Ive had the "why don't we just block all bots" convo so many times, and when my answer is "you can't" the natural next question is "then what is Akamai doing?". If you ever ask yourself this, do what this post did and expose yourself to all the noise that Akamai blocks
When you put a webserver up on the internet. anywhere, hosting anything, you will see "the background radiation of the internet", and it looks like this:
Just got this major throwback on my camera roll, 2017 seems so recently damn

Never forget, I got hired through Twitter
fun fact: dming someone & asking them for a job never landed anyone a job.
If you have the profile he looks for, just start your own company lol
With only 11 employees (4 eng + 7 growth), @im_roy_lee reveals their simple hiring criteria: - min 100,000+ followers - engineer or influencer - must live in the office - viral sense & strong algo pull "There is no work-life balance. Your entire life is Cluely & your entire…
I’m actually so for real about this, I would love to organise a conference bringing sneaker Twitter devs together to give talks in Europe. Who is in
We will organise the next one in Europe
I was there, easily the most insane event I’ve ever been to
Fucking hell, annual Cheese Rolling festival this year looks nuts as usual🤣
PSA to hire sneaker Twitter people
✅ Cracked Founding Engineer ✅ Cracked Software Engineering Intern #1 ❓ Cracked Software Engineering Intern #2 Any sneaker bot devs still in school and want the last spot for the summer? Lmk why it should be you ASAP😁
Botting is back
Trent Alexander Arnold you will never walk alone 🤖
my son asked me, dad why don't people build UI like this anymore. slowly i turned to him, and told him the uncomfortable truth. "we can't, we dont know how to do it."

The best source of bugs during hype launches was people on Twitter tagging me and trying to dunk on me for working at adidas now by showing me problems they find. It literally was one of the quickest ways. When we did something new, I’d watch @Roszko72 to see if it worked right😂
We made it so whenever there's an error people tweet at us. Public accountability is the fastest route to a world class product.
we all just edit files for a living anyways
frontend is not real programming, ask anyone who solves real problems in the backend
I was doing the 24x7 on-call rotation for hype drops at adidas for about 3 years. Can't count the amount of times I felt like this after a Yeezy drop, it happens when you are doing crazy shit. It's also when you learn the most, don't worry about it 🫡
I’m still bummed about how the rollout went :( Gonna sleep it off and try again tomorrow. Goodnight nerds.
It’s been a while since I built something new. Going to focus and ship one of my side projects to production this weekend
I took a year of advanced functional programming at university. Haskell and Lambda Calculus separated the people who were about that life from those who weren’t. Also shoutout to Professor Graham Hutton, he was my professor for it
It's true, Haskell has nobody with a dyed mustache to produce an endless stream of clickbait (You WILL be SHOCKED!) videos A tragedy
