Their relationship is so fun and nucance and sweet but we will never get to experience that as a fandom because the majority of very passionate shippers in this fandom don't actually interact with the source material aside from a surface level skim read. </3
imo I think the actual issue with the ship is that despite how well written their relationship is, people still misunderstand both characters and just sexualize them Baiken is so emotionally torn she only works with slow burn and Anji's not a brainless fuckboy 😭
