Most coaches want to help fix every broken athlete. Sometimes athletes don’t want the help because they haven’t experienced it growing up and don’t know how to accept it. I just cared for them. Athletes will reach out to me thanking me for caring many years before.
Going into high school and college last year of eligibility. Odessa Permian a dominant Texas High program had a book/movie about the 1988 team. The book and movie is Friday Night Lights.
