☀‼ Weather-Related Program Update ‼ ☀ The Vance Chavis Branch Library Block Party that was scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday, July 26) has been postponed due to forecasted extreme temperatures. We hope to reschedule this program and will provide updates when possible.

⚠ New Business Hours ⚠ Effective August 1, 2025, GPL will have new business hours. These changes are part of the adopted Fiscal Year 2025-26 City budget and have been made in order for the Library to operate and utilize staffing more efficiently across all locations.

What’s this?! Another special guest for GPL Anime Con, Jesi Routh! Jesi is a Japanese Language instructor at UNCG. Having started her Japanese language journey through the discovery of Japanese music, she has pursued Japanese history, swordplay, and the writing system of Kanji.

Please welcome our next special guest for GPL Anime Con, Brandon Bovia! Brandon is a two-times Eisner Nominated, freelance manga letterer with over 8 years of experience in formatting text and sound effects in localized manga like Dragon Ball Super, Kaiju No. 8, and Beyblade X.
