Russia's so-called "shadow" fleet is not in any kind of shade. We know which ships are doing the dirty work to fill the Kremlin's coffers, so if we can block another 10% of them then we can block all 100% of them.
Trump's threats to tariff the tiny levels of trade between the US and Russia would only be taken seriously in the Kremlin if he also threatened to go after companies in China, India and others who let Russia get around the rules. But no, that was not what was announced yesterday.
