Today we wish Her Excellency Alison Blake CMG farewell after 3 years serving as the Governor of the #Falklands. 🇬🇧🇫🇰 Members of the community gathered to wish goodbye to the Governor at a farewell parade which included the handing back of the sword, a gun salute & flypast.

Last night, the #Falklands community wished farewell to HE Alison Blake CMG & Col. Pete. On behalf of @FIAssembly, MLA Pollard said “You’ve carried out the role with clarity, purpose & grace. You’ve always been a tireless advocate for our right of self-determination - thank you”



Yesterday, Her Excellency gave her final annual address to the #Falklands Legislative Assembly 📜 In her address, HE highlighted the extensive work of the Falkland Islands Government and its partners in delivering services and government goals. 🇫🇰

To wrap up Farmers Week, the Governor was delighted to attend the Camp Education show showcasing the brilliant performances from the Camp Education students who had a week of adventure in Stanley 👏🎬 #Falklands #FarmersWeek

Every year the Stanley schools hold an exhibition of fantastic artwork in memory of teacher Susan Whitley who was killed tragically in 1982 #Falklands
Last night, Her Excellency hosted her final #FarmersWeek reception 🐑 for the Camp community which contributes significantly to the stewardship, beauty and prosperity of these Islands. The Governor also used this opportunity to wish farewell to the Camp community #Falklands.
