Thank God I woke up this morning. Last night I had this nightmare that they not only decided the outcome of the All-Star game with batting practice, but they also awarded the game MVP to a guy that didn’t get any hits or drive any runs.

I don’t know how to feel about this swing off thing… I also don’t know how the announcers can compare hitting three BP homers with hitting one in the game off a live arm. I think I need a cold shower.

Sometimes you win the pitch and lose the at bat.

A lot of eyewash in the drills I see on here.

There is only one absolute when it comes to pre-draft rankings/evaluations: Absolutely none of the "experts" really knows who will pan out and who won't. Side note: Since they know that they don't know, its alot safer to follow the crowd or to let the computer decide.

Watch the game and pay attention. Most of the information you need to gain an advantage is right there in front of you.

Playing with class is all about where you aim your energy.

Young catchers: You’ve got to enjoy a little pain. If you need a timeout every time a ball misses the gear you may want to find another position.

Hustle. Play fast. If you're good it will separate you. If you're not at least its fun to watch you play.

My guy can just bang it.
