Someone just tweeted me and said we can’t afford to have 20–25% of the population on PIP. So, as a PSA: 20–25% of the population AREN’T on PIP. 20–25% of the disabled population are on PIP. The percentage of the whole population is 5.5%. #TakingThePIP

Yesterday @UN Cmte on the Rights of Disabled People criticised @UKGOV welfare reforms saying they will "increase poverty rates" & will risk "regression" for disabled people. @GDA__online 6000 members urge @UKGov MPs to #VoteNo to #WelfareCuts
GDA members are now in discussion with their local MPs. Disabled people are raising concerns about the Green Paper, benefits cuts and the need for holistic employability support.
