About a year ago, BBake and I finished a grind where we crafted all of Zinogre’s armors and weapons in 3U, 4U, GU, Iceborne, and Sunbreak. Not only that, we recorded every hunt we did from start to finish in a huge spreadsheet to see how the grind changed across the games

This Is not a first in the series, Lagiacrus, Seregios and Najarala weapons have a design change once you reach certain upgrade level

And here we have the 2 sets of Chatacabra weapon designs. Yes, Chata and 4 other monsters have weapons that gain a new appearance when they reach max level. I wonder if this is similar to the devs' unexecuted vision of "evolving weapons" in World.
