I've just released NEXXT studio 3.2 Among its features: a dither-gradient paint mode that eliminates the NES video outputs' problematic 'shimmer' and 'rgb rainbow' effects (the main reason you don't see much bayer matrix dither on the nes historically) frankengraphics.itch.io/nexxt
