Last night was the first Skenes’ game that I didn’t watch a single pitch. The organization hasn’t ruined Skenes—he’ll move on sooner or later and be just fine—but, through their ineptitude, they’ve ruined the Skenes viewing experience for most Pirates fans.
But what if it’s golf though?
no offense but if someone is excited about something and you make them feel stupid for being excited about it, you're the worst type of person
It seems very Pirate-y that the team and the fanbase constantly go on about their ‘once in a generation pitcher’ when the Brewers and the Reds have both come up with their own in the course of a year.
Of all the people involved with the Pirates who are terrible at their jobs, the third-base coach is by far the worst.
Is Kelly sending Stratton back out there to lose the game an example of Donnie Ball?
So Kelly had someone on deck to hit for Davis, who was not necessarily going to get an at bat (and didn’t), but he had no problems letting Hayes hit, who is a worse offensive player than Davis. But Donny Ball, right?
Whatever remaining enthusiasm I had for the Pirates has been killed by the whole Jared Triolo thing.
If the Pirates traded Oneil Cruz today, this would be the perfect day for a certain kind of Pittsburgh sports fan.
Wait a minute, the Pirates couldn’t find a closer in this bullpen full of journeymen?
Seems like the Pirates aren’t going to be that good this year.
Just an atrocious baseball team that they’ve put together here. Staggeringly bad in every facet.
Their integrity.
Of all the #Steelers free agents who were lost this offseason, which one do you think will be missed the most?
The absolute final straw for this front office will be when it is proven that the right pick all along was Crewes, not Skenes #Pirates
