Max has only had 2 bad rain performances in his entire career and both were down to his car being set up wrong (Turkey 2020 and Silverstone 2025). Max is by far the best driver in the wet.

Max had a Monza spec low downforce rear wing on the car which is the opposite of what you want when it’s wet. Any other driver would have put it in the wall before the second lap.

Piastri went from 218kph to 52kph!!!! The fact that he’s acting like the penalty was unfair is honestly shameless! If anything, he got off lightly. This was a textbook example of a brake check and far more extreme than what Max did in Saudi 2021.

If it is indeed wet, Max is severely fucked. That skinny rear wing, low downforce set up will be an absolute disaster in those conditions.
