Here it is! Feyenoord recruitment plan 2023/2024 I hope you'll enjoy going through it as much as I've had making it. Please let me know what you think! Shares and feedback are always appreciated. yumpu.com/en/document/re…
Last one for Casper Tengstedt I liked this suggestion to exclude last season's data, as Hellas Verona is indeed not really comparable with the other teams in terms of stature in their respective leagues. You can see the Serie A data had a negative impact on his average numbers
Would it be possible to add his Benfica data as well to increase the sample size a bit? (His data for Hellas I find not very relevant, as it was the weakest team in terms of possession of the league and thus not representative for Feyenoord at all)
Casper Tengstedt joining as the new striker? 🇩🇰 Last season's data of him are pretty poor, but it makes sense considering he played for a lower-table side. The other seasons' numbers look good and allround, although I'd personally prefer someone who's more of an aerial threat
🚨🇳🇱 Feyenoord have reached an agreement in principle with Benfica to sign Casper Tengstedt. Deal almost done. ✅🏁
Replacing Dávid Hancko: a thread Hancko's departure has seemed inevitable for a while now. Since his arrival at Feyenoord, he's consistently been one of the best (if not the best) defenders in the league With Beelen now out injured, replacing Hancko is even more urgent 🧵
I'm actually pretty relieved Hancko's situation has been cleared up so quickly. Although we're losing a terrific player, it's clear as day for me this is best for all parties Hancko gets his desired move and we can move on constructing the squad Thanks for everything, warrior💪
Dávid Hancko leaves training camp tomorrow to complete his move to Atlético Madrid:
Feyenoord interested in Jordan Bos! It's difficult to compare him with other fullbacks, as he's played mostly as a wing-back/winger last season. Still, his numbers compared to other wingers actually look impressive But again, these injuries man... Missed 27 games last season
Results of this are certainly split! I was personally leaning towards 'no' because of a) the injury issues of Touré, b) the poor tactical fit of Ueda, and c) doubts about Carranza's general level But now the situation changed completely again, so let's see what happens
Just speculating here Let's just say El Bilal Touré joins the club. I'd assume either Carranza or Ueda (probably Ueda) would leave the club at that point Would you feel confident with Touré (with mentioned injury issues), Carranza/Ueda and Carrillo as the strikers this season?
Non-Feyenoord news this time, but Matej Sin's move to AZ is a very intriguing one imo. He was pretty high on my list of (cheaper) alternatives to Sem Steijn at the time An allround offensive midfielder, capable of box-crashing and goalscoring as well as creating chances

Better late than never, here are the stats for Van den Berg in the Championship last season. Again, not a lot to say about stats of centre-backs, though Maybe the most telling story is he has 2 full seasons under his belt as a 21 y/o, though he has also been hampered by injuries
Unfortunately, I have some trouble collecting Championship data. However, Rav van den Berg ticks a lot of boxes, I think. Dutch, solid defender, alright on the ball, great physically. Plenty of experience for a young player, and a lot of potential re-sale value still
Gonçalo Borges is officially a Feyenoord player! Personally, I'm not a big fan of this deal. Although he has all the trickery, he still seems very one-dimensional. The reported fee is also baffling to me But it wouldn't be the first time I misjudged a new signing, so let's see!
HERE WE LAND! 🤯 🚁 GONÇALO BORGES
