As of January 2025, @WRPSToday has spent over $771k to fight a whistleblower who walked away from a career in policing over 8 years ago!!! The very person advising them to keep fighting is the one benefiting from it. 🤔

How can justice be “seen to be done” when it can’t be seen at all? Now litigants have to choose between an accommodation for disability (virtual) and open court principle. Canada is slipping down the slope of unethicality. tbnewswatch.com/local-news/cha…

Since it is Canada Day, I thought I would share my personal choices for the Top 10 Canadians (pre-colonial to today). This is just my opinion, nothing more. Everyone will have their own Top 10 with different names :) #1 - Terry Fox (1958 - 1981) 🧵1/11
I am a 46-year old woman, but I didn’t always have the courage to speak up. If we don’t teach young women to say and do exactly what Canadian judges want in the case of a sexual assault, we are failing. So, what is it exactly? It is absurd that it has come to this.
Public transit. Sounds about right. Let’s give them more subsidies, then his salary can go even higher. I, for one, believe that “the norm” now is insane.

So, what exactly will change?
The absolute disdain that people have for government workers (as you'll see in the replies) is so ridiculous and so incredibly misguided - Carney's massive cuts means waiting hours more on the phone with the CRA, it means having trouble accessing EI and your pension.
This is what happens when police don't press charges for Years after a report. Cases need to be prosecuted immediately when evidence and memories are fresh.
This is ridiculous. It happened in 2021 in my Superior Court motion hearing and the very same CBC pointed the finger at me! Now they are just excluding the public instead of having participants ID themselves and regulate the technology? It’s so easy to do. cbc.ca/news/canada/wi…
York Region, #Canada has seen a 98% rise in shootings and 109% rise in car-jackings. Their response - (We really need to stop this ‘rapport’ building nonsense and get back to grass roots policing.)

Female recently applied @rcmpgrcpolice 18 months from application to psych She was asked 9 questions about masterbation After answering 7 -8 she told male interviewer she didn’t feel comfortable She is no longer in the process The questions included but not limited too -
How many of these acts are behaved by police leaders across Canada on a daily basis? In my case alone, every single one. @Paul_Derry @shesrideordie @tarnishedblog @mobinfiltrator
3 things my employer said during closing arguments this week: 1. I’m a liar, and believe my own lies. 2. I’m litigious and misandrist. 3. I was asking for it. #Workplace #SexualHarassment #Waterloo #WhyWomenDontReport
This is an accurate reflection of the @LawSocietyLSO in my experience. I had 3 complaints closed without any action by them simply because the lawyers are currently committing the misconduct. Once it ends, I am told to refile. nationalpost.com/news/canada/wh…
