We celebrated Mizushima Lab's 20th anniversary with a fantastic BBQ! Alumni reunited to share memories. Inspiring to see alumni—nurtured by Dr. Mizushima—thriving in diverse fields. The day was full of laughter and joy. Here's to Mizushima Lab's continued success!
I am happy to share this preprint from my postdoc! By constructing ‘synthetic mitochondria’ in cells, we looked at how real mitochondria decide between going forwards and backwards on microtubules. ⬅️🔋➡️?
