When data talks, you listen to it. My favorite part is the data against control, WoTC pinned it on Mycospawn while reanimator is a BIG part of it. I know most of you are tired to see people complaining (I'm part of this!), but this shouldn't be the new normal for Legacy.

I'm a fairly bad vintage cube player because I have trouble not playing wanky archetype that are good only when planets align. But the payoff is worth it all.

Seeing the latest challenge results pains me. I wish we were wrong with all the complains, but the numbers are here and will likely stay the same for the next 5 months. 43 UB Rea in top16 out of 7 tournaments post ban. 43/112 decks. For a format that used to be the most diverse.

Had a great WE in Toulouse with my friends! Great venue, bad meta, won the team trio, top 16 saturday and 0/2 french national into side event 5/0. Bad vibes however because of a game rule violation weirdly handled and a DQed player saturday for cheating playing again on sunday...

I saw MAINDECK Leyline of the Void, Grafdigger's Cage, Nihil Spellbomb, and Faerie Macabre today. Paired against Oops multiple times with different sb plans. I'm gonna go play Commander in hopes that Oops in Leagues dies down in leagues. It's gross in there now. #mtglegacy

I don't always agree with BoshNRoll, mostly about his stances on Oops and Myco, but I am totally in line with his thoughts and sense of measure here, especially for the explaination for not banning Entomb. Good highlight of the contradictions within WoTC's communication.

Last 4 Challenges top8 UB Reanimator Results: - 1st & 2nd - 2nd, 7th & 8th - 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th - 1st & 4th All this 3 bans later. One Forge in these 4 top 8, 0 Eldrazi of course, these bans worked way better surprisingly. So don't even tell me Troll was the card to hit.

3/3 in today's challenge after a good 3/0 start. Tiny punt against lands cost me G1 in R4. Then got instantly punished by Tamiyo's combo with brainstorm, followed by my current bad match-ups among high play-rate: Breakfast. 2 trophies save the week though!

Playing a bit of oops lately made me reconsider, though. Despite truly thinking we can survive without banning them, I think a nerf would be nice. Without killing the deck, removing memory's journey instead of informer/spy would at least make sure that targeter GY hate works.

Was inspired (and angry at some tweets) today and felt like I'd waste an hour writing a wall of text on why Legacy banlist is being handled very poorly right now. The answer is just wotc doesn't care but I still hope somewhere, somehow, it will get better. GL for reading 😅

For anyone who enjoy jamming Lands, check out this guy's content, his Legacy results are among the very best of the whole MTGO scene. Also I believe Lands is currently well-positioned in current meta (similarly to GPost 👀) so it's a good time to learn about it!

6/0 into 7/2. 9th after breakers😅 Happy with the result, it confirms how I feel about the pack: if you achieve stability, it's better than everything else. Losses were entirely due to lack of stability (bad openers). Any future decklist change should aim at improving this.
