A brutal manhunt is unfolding on Ukraine’s streets, with systemic beatings and torture targeting those unwilling to join the military. A Hungarian man died after being beaten during a forced conscription. Today we initiated to place those responsible on the EU sanctions list.

Today we initiated that the EU place on its sanctions list those responsible for the death of a Hungarian man during forced conscription. We demand that the three Ukrainian officials from the defence ministry and army directing these conscriptions be held accountable.

Shocking how Brussels & European leaders turn a blind eye to Ukraine’s inhuman forced conscription. Where are the NGOs, the human rights activists, the so-called independent media? A Hungarian man was beaten to death for refusing to go to war. Unacceptable and must be addressed.

It’s in Hungary’s interest to reach a ceasefire and hostage deal asap to free the Hungarian hostage held by Hamas. Today, there will be strong pressure on us in Brussels to sanction Israeli settlers. That would be the wrong move. This is the time for diplomacy, not sanctions.

Last year Morocco became Hungary’s No.1 trading partner in Africa. Trade has passed $400M, w/ 20% growth this year. As Africa’s population grows by 1 billion by 2075, Europe must prevent humanitarian & migration crises through a targeted Africa strategy w/ Morocco as key partner.
