Expect delays on northbound I-95 north of Sunrise Blvd after a vehicle rolled over in the express lanes. A couple people were evaluated for minor injuries. Road Rangers are on scene to clear the roadway.

At around 2:30 this afternoon, FLFR responded to a busted gas line along the 1500 block of SW 18th Ave. Construction workers using boring equipment punctured an underground line. After about an hour of work, Hazmat teams from FLFR and BSFR were able to safely cap the leak.



FLFR Hazmat on the scene of a ruptured gas line along SE 9th Street, just east of Federal Hwy. Traffic along SE 9th will be impacted for about the next hour while crews work to mitigate the leak. No impacts to Federal Hwy at this time.

7/21 - Heat advisory issued for South Florida today with heat indices expected in the 105-110F range this afternoon. Continue to stay cool! There will be some extra showers and storms compared to last couple days, but likely not until past 3-4pm, allowing for the heat to rise.
At about 6:30 PM, Fort Lauderdale and @browardsheriff Fire Rescue responded to a reported house fire along the 500 block of SW 38th Avenue. We arrived to find smoke showing and a small fire inside a utility room near the garage. Fire was quickly extinguished. No injuries.
