The NCAA D2Executive Board has approved a proposal to expand the D2 Football Playoffs from 28 teams to 32 teams starting in ‘25. The new format will consist of 16 auto bids as well as 16 at-large bids. The new format will also eliminate 1st round byes for the top seeds #D2FB
