— "give me cersei lannister, and you would see how gentle a woman can be.”
the parallel glances of mother to daughter and daughter to mother as each interpret chopin’s prelude differently… a thousand agonies conveyed through both gazes and the touch of fingertips on the piano
"they're insane for this" and it's two characters looking at eachother
cersei x melisandre nation is growing, i’m loving this as one of its most outspoken advocates
jaime “hate” on here is people holding him accountable for his actions and not ignoring them like most people do meanwhile cersei hate is people saying the most misogynistic thing you’ve ever heard in your life and then wishing a brutal violent death on her
happy birthday to the most beautiful girl in the world 💛
happy birthday beautiful angel laura palmer!!!!!!
i think tyrion is an incredibly complex character who is shaped from years of abuse from the moment he is born and who is haunted by the sexual abuse he was forced to witness and then forced to partake in. jaime lying to him reinforces that no one will ever love (1)
they’re saying cersei isn’t complex but they can’t even comprehend that she can both reinforce and rebel against the patriarchy😭 this fandom is not real
She's not really that complex, I'm going to be honest. There are many, many more complex characters in GOT than her. I'm not saying she's two dimensional but she's manifestly incapable of ever learning from any of her numerous mistakes which keeps her as a stagnant character
every time i come across a laura palmer edit i watch it in awe but then feel a profound sense of sadness
cersei was never trained to rule, because of her sex. now, as regent, she has great power but it’s all new to her and she’s also reacting to years of being excluded and pushed aside, kept from power... so there’s a certain paranoia that people would do that to her again. – GRRM
this post made many people mad and it’s v hilarious. rebellion isn’t only committed for morally righteous causes and each of these women are nuanced enough to have different motives for rebelling against the patriarchy - whether that be for personal autonomy or collective change.
