High School Football and Basketball coaches should be FULL-TIME employees and not required to have a second position at the school to make ends meet. Far too much is expected from those two sports.
What’s a coaching opinion you have that would have people like this?
High School coaches do this for nothing more than the love of the game. If it was about $ or clout, I would have stayed in college. We take time away from our families for 6 months to pour into ur kids and it’s all for the love of the game and mentoring and developing young men.

Teddy Bridgewater paid out of pocket for training camp ($14K), pride sets ($9,500), pregame meals ($2,200/wk), recovery ($1,300/wk), Ubers ($700/wk), field paint ($300/wk). He did this as a VOLUNTEER, not employee. We shouldn’t be punishing people for improving their community.
